Multi-Dome shades are an economical way of shading a very large area. We’ve used our multi-dome style to shade bleachers, sport courts, parking lots, and more! Once a single dome becomes too large (at around 2,000 sq. ft.), it is typically cheaper to break up the canopy into several smaller canopies that share columns, or posts. For example, a 30′ x 40′ hip shade, which has four posts, would split into two 30′ x 20′ hip shades that share six posts. What’s more, this would also ensure better tension of your shade’s fabric.
