“I began working on our neighborhood playground in the summer of 2018. After meeting with several playground companies, it was abundantly clear that Premier Park & Play was the best fit for our project. Mr Knotts has been amazing to work with. Funding was approved by voters at town meeting in the fall of 2019. We were ready to build come spring! Unfortunately Covid-19 happened. We stayed in regular contact, and with optimism and a couple of minor adjustments, the playground was built in the fall of 2022. "My name is Jessica Rock, LMHC and I am a director of a crisis center for children. Over two years ago we embarked on a mission to build the children of the center a much needed playground. The children of the center often come to us with extreme trauma histories, suffering from mental illness, loss and broken homes. Our center gives hospital level of care meaning the children cannot be in the community that often due to safety concerns. So our yard is the only area for them to use for exercise and play. We wanted to build a playground that would meet the therapeutic needs of our children. So we partnered up with an Occupational Therapist and Premier Park and Play to accomplish this goal. Throughout the last two years Premier Park & Play has been there for us every step of the way. To include playground design, which is something we changed more than once due to finding new items we wanted to add and not once did they tell us we could not, instead they came to us every time and took the time to sit with us to develop the new plans. Throughout this time we held multiple fundraising events to raise the money needed for the build of the playground to include motorcycle rides, golf tournaments and poker tournaments. Premier Park & Play was again there for us with each and every one by participating in our events and sponsoring. Doug Knotts was simply amazing to us and our cause. He even played in our poker tournament even though he had never played before just because he wanted to help us out!!! Which that RIGHT there speaks volumes to there dedication to the project. When it came time for the build Premier Park & Play went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to complete a community build and because of this we were able to build a 48,000 dollar playground in only TWO DAYS !!!! This success would not have been possible without the extraordinary team at Premier Park & Play. As I sit here writing this letter I am literally looking out my window in my office watching the children enjoy the playground and their smiles tell it all. So thank you Premier Park & Play for making dreams come true!!!!"
